Default Adding Photos / Files to a post

When posting to the forum you can add up to 10 images / files per post.

How to add images
- Once you are in the reply area scroll down to "Additional Options".
- Select Manage Attachments.
- You may upload from your Computer your photos (up to 10 photos per post) Our forum will automatically resize each photo up to 5mb in size into "1 x small image" and "1 x large image".
- Once you have completed uploading you will see each attachment and be able to close the window by selecting "Close this Window"

* please note that it takes time to upload pending on the quality of your internet connection, so you'll need to be patient. See below for the example timeframes.

example
ADSL2 - 1mb photos will take approx 30 seconds, 5mb photos may be 2+ minutes
Dialup - click the Submit button and have a sleep would be my best guess.

Other file attachments
At present you can add Word, PDF and excel spreadsheets to your posts but please make sure that you are running good Anti-Virus software before doing so. I also highly recommend that if you download them you also run good Anti-Virus software as the website will not check them for you.

Viewing Images / Attachments
You must be a registered member of the forum to view attachments, this will provide a bit of security to your files.

***Note - we cannot guarantee that your photos / files will be not used in other mediums so please do not upload anything that is copyright or personal to you or anyone else.

Some of the tools i've used in the past which can do batch processing of images are:

- http://www.faststone.org/FSResizerDetail.htm (my preference for an easy to use batch processor)

I have added a couple of help files below:

Faststone Basic - Batch Processing only
Faststone Advanced - some pretty cool features you can play with if you have time to burn.

Please note that I can't really help out much more than this, sorry.
